Key West Attractions

If you’re looking for a place to rest and relax on the beach, Key West is the place to be. However, if you’d like to spend some time exploring, you’ll find plenty of opportunities for that, as well. The Mel Fisher Treasure Museum is a fantastic place where you can view artifacts from Spanish galleons and learn about the legendary treasure hunter that was Mel Fisher! Spend a relaxing day at the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory, enjoying the company of over 60 species of butterflies. It’s hard to have a bad day when you’re hanging out with these carefree little critters. Plan a more adventurous outing by visiting the Key West Shipwreck Museum or take a trip through time by visiting the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum.

Fun Fact: Ernest Hemingway was gifted a six-toed cat during the 1930s, and the Ernest Hemingway Home and Museum is now home to over 50 polydactyl cats.
