Private campgrounds may not always offer the massive open grounds that public campgrounds do, but they certainly do usually provide idyllic settings and convenient locations. Most private campgrounds also feature lots of amenities for campers, including swimming pools and spas, playgrounds, game rooms and arcades, outdoor sports such as basketball and volleyball, sometimes even golf. In addition, many also have on-site markets, cafes, outdoor eateries and more. Full RV hookups and beautiful settings are not uncommon in private campgrounds.
